The Cooperative Extension associations of the Capital Region have forged a unique partnership that provides opportunities to residents beyond their individual counties’ borders. Local needs provide the focus for program participation by residents in their communities. Multi-county sharing, educator exchanges, and regional training programs, together with University connections expand opportunities for residents.
Funding for Cornell Cooperative Extension is enhanced by a partnership of federal, state and local government appropriations. Private resources, including competitive grants and contracts, program fees and contributions, support program initiatives and provide sustainability.
