Nutritional Concerns Conference
Every year the Nutritional Concerns Conference committee located in the Capital region holds an educational all day event highlighting key topics of Nutrition for professionals and paraprofessionals in Nutrition. Some of the recent topics included: So You Think You Can Blog? Using Social Media To Communicate Food & Nutrition Information to the Public; Changing Views, Promoting and Supporting Breastfeeding in our Current Culture; 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans: Translating the Evidence; The Hunger/Obesity Paradox; Update on Celiac Disease and Gluten Sensitivity; and Seminars on commitment to Professionalism, Team work and Personal Accountability.
